Our survey methodology

Morale & Motivation

Employee surveys will measure levels of morale and motivation within the organisation. Some clients, however, have asked us to focus on this key aspect to assess how the key elements of organisational context and climate that affect morale and motivation are changing. They also want to identify which factors have the most influence over morale and motivation so they can focus in the right areas.

A morale and motivation survey therefore will concentrate on those aspects that are known to have the greatest impact. These would include factors such as:

  • Personal fulfilment in current role
  • Levels of reward
  • Levels of involvement
  • Recognition of contribution
  • Empowerment and responsibility
  • Opportunities for progression
  • Learning and development

Once the survey has been completed and all the factors analysed, our consultants can advise on possible actions to attend to any issues identified that are having detrimental effect on the organisation. Similarly we can pinpoint the areas that have the greatest potential to increase morale and motivation.
